The Workwize Disposal Service offers a secure and transparent process to help clients responsibly destroy or recycle their assets. Our service ensures complete data security and environmental compliance.
Below is a step-by-step breakdown of how the disposal process works.
Step 1: Initiating a Destruction Request
The process begins when you submit the IT assets that you wish to destroy. To get started, simply request this service from your CSM, who will provide you with a template spreadsheet where you can list all the IT assets.
Step 2: Workwize Reviews the Request
After receiving your list, Workwize forwards it to our ITAD partner to initiate the disposal process. Experts review the information provided to plan for secure destruction.
Step 3: Cost Estimate
The ITAD partner provides a detailed service quote covering all operational expenses, including handling, destruction, and compliance documentation.
Step 4: Decision
You review the cost estimate and have two options:
•Proceed: If satisfied with the quote, you can approve it, and Workwize arranges the shipment of the devices to the ITAD facility.
•Terminate: If you choose to decline, the process is halted with no further obligations.
Step 5: Devices Processed at ITAD Facility
Once the assets arrive at the ITAD facility, the ITAD partner confirms receipt and securely destroys the devices. This process ensures complete data destruction according to industry standards, followed by environmentally responsible recycling.
Step 6: Certificate of Destruction & Documentation
After the devices are destroyed, the ITAD partner issues a Certificate of Destruction. Workwize shares this certificate with you, ensuring compliance and providing proof of secure destruction.
