How to Submit a Repair Request
- Depending on the assets’ location, requesting a repair can have either of the following starting points: Either navigate to Employees or Officein the menu on the lefthand side in the Workwize app
- Identify the items you wish to repair
- Click on the Repair asset button for that item.
- Follow the steps to successfully finish the request.
What Happens After You Submit a Repair Request
1. Workwize processes the request
Workwize receives and processes the repair request promptly by providing an initial quote range based on the damage description. If the initial quote range is accepted, Workwize will initiate a shipment request with our 3PL partner. In case a replacement device is requested, this will be shipped out as soon as possible.2. Ship the product to the repair partner
Upon receipt of the shipment request, our third-party logistics (3PL) partner will coordinate the shipment to the repair partner. If the asset is in possession of an employee or located at an office, we will provide a shipping label for drop-off purposes. Alternatively, if the asset is stored in one of our warehouses, our 3PL partner will arrange direct shipment to the repair facility.3. Inspect and repair item
When the item has arrived at the repair partner location, they will start by conducting a physical inspection. If the quote after the physical inspection turns out to be higher than the initial quote range provided, Workwize will share this with the client and request second quote approval. If approved, the item will be repaired and afterwards sent back to our warehouse for you to order. If declined, the asset can either de disposed off, or sent back to the warehouse as well.4. Complete repair and ship to the warehouse
Once the repair is completed, the asset is sent to the warehouse and is ready to be distributed to a new employee
