When you submit an offboarding request for an employee, a unique Offboarding ID is assigned to that request. As the offboarding process progresses, this ID will have different statuses that reflect its current stage.
How to Find Offboarding Statuses:
- Log in to your Workwize account.
- Navigate to "Orders" in the left-hand column.

Click on "All Offboardings."
Here, you’ll find the status of each offboarding request listed under the "Status" column.
Understanding Offboarding Statuses:

Request Received:
We’ve received your offboarding request, and it's currently being processed. -
Pending Employee Response:
The employee has been contacted via email to confirm their details. The process can’t proceed until the employee clicks "Confirm Details." We’ll send up to three reminder emails and may also contact the employee by phone or text to ensure the next steps are taken. -
Request Being Processed:
This status appears once the employee has confirmed their details. -
Pick-Up/Drop-Off in Progress:
Our logistics partner is scheduling a pick-up or drop-off. The employee will receive an email with their return label or further instructions. The employee’s manager will also be notified via email. -
Offboarding Failed - No Answer from User:
If the employee doesn’t respond after three reminder emails (sent every 3 days) or doesn’t complete the pick-up/drop-off within 30 days, the offboarding status will change to "Offboarding Failed." The manager can then choose to either restart or cancel the offboarding. -
Offboard Completed:
All items listed under the Offboarding ID have been received, and the process is complete. The returned items will be added to your stock. -
Offboard Canceled:
The offboarding request has been canceled at the manager's request, and no further action will be taken.
